Key Stats

  • Guinea have lost only one of their last five World Cup qualifying matches (W2 D2).
  • Botswana have lost their last three World Cup qualifying matches.

Guinea vs Botswana Prediction

Guinea come into this one on the back of a hard-fought 2-1 defeat of Mozambique at Estadio do Zimpeto the other day, courtesy of a brace scored by Abdoul Traore. The Guineans have managed four victories with two draws in their three matches during an underwhelming qualifying campaign.

They now face a Botswana side that head into this one on the back of three successive losses in FIFA World Cup qualification. They had previously been difficult to beat but are now succumbing to a few losses, the most recent of which was a 1-0 defeat to Uganda the other day.

Botswana lack goals and have had to try and make themselves difficult to beat but they are drifting now and Guinea should win without too much trouble.

Guinea vs Botswana Tip: Guinea to win to nil
