Guatemala vs Panama prediction
Guatemala went into the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup on the back of finishing second in their second round group of qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup due to a 3-0 loss to Jamaica. However, they got their revenge on the Jamaicans with a 1-0 win in the groups the other day, thanks to a 32nd minute strike scored by Oscar Santis.
Panama have an improving squad and will be confident of securing 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification for next summer. The Panamanians backed up an impressive second round of CONCACAF qualification by hammering Guadeloupe by five goals to two in their opener in this competition the other day.
Guatemala will believe they now have an excellent chance to make the knockout stages but Panama would have to remain firm favourites for this one.
