Greece vs Bulgaria prediction

Greece were largely dominant in the second hald of their encounter with Slovakia, with main striker Vangelis Pavlidis scoring in a 4-1 win. The scores were level at half-time but Greece stepped up a gear and eventually overwhelmed the Slovakians from an offensive point of view, scoring two late on after taking the lead.

Bulgaria are looking to avoid the same fate, although they’ll need to tighten up from a defensive standpoint. After leading Cyprus twice courtesy of an Aleksandar Kolev double, both times Bulgaria failed to hold their advantage with the second Cyprus goal coming in the final few minutes of normal time.

Having conceded twice in each of their last three fixtures, it’s hard to see Bulgaria being able to keep out Greece, especially should they end up tiring as the game goes on. On the contrary, Greece may well get stronger and are well worth backing to come out on top.
