Go Ahead Eagles vs Aston Villa prediction

The Go Ahead Eagles majorly overperformed in the Eredivisie to qualify for the UEFA Europa League last season. They have started this campaign impressively, too, with a 1-0 loss at home to Romanian champions FCSB being followed up by a remarkable 2-1 victory in Athens against Panathinaikos.

Aston Villa got their first win of the season in this competition, against Bologna last month, and the Villains have now enjoyed five successive victories across all competitions, having most recently defeated Tottenham Hotspur by two goals to one in north London at the weekend.

The Go Ahead Eagles have shown that they can punch above their weight but Villa are in excellent form and should make it a second win in the Netherlands in this competition.
