Girona vs Arsenal Prediction
Girona come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Rayo Vallecano at Vallecas at the weekend in a game in which they led until the 80th minute before a late Randy Nteka brace. That means Michel’s Catalans have now suffered three successive defeats. Their focus for the rest of this season will be trying to launch themselves back into the top seven or eight. Arsenal, after going down to ten men early on at Wolverhampton Wanderers due to a controversial Myles Lewis-Skelly red card, managed to edge past Wolves by a goal to nil after their opponents also had Joao Gomes sent off. The Gunners have been frustrating to watch for a while but will fancy their chances here against a Girona side with little motivation as they coast to the end of a difficult UEFA Champions League league phase campaign.
