Gibraltar remain one of the weakest sides in European international football but were able to limit the damage in March as they now take on a veteran Croatia side this week.

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – FOX Sports

How to watch online: UK – Amazon Prime / US – Disney+

Key Stats

  • Gibraltar have lost all their previous 22 World Cup qualifying matches. They have lost all 26 matches in UEFA European Championship qualifying also.
  • Croatia are unbeaten in their last nine World Cup qualifying matches (W7 D2).
  • Croatia have kept seven clean sheets in their last nine World Cup qualifying matches.

Gibraltar vs Croatia Prediction

Gibraltar come into this one on the back of beginning their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign by taking a surprise 13th minute lead in Niksic against Montenegro, via Dan Bent. They went on to lose that game by three goals to one against the Montenegrins before then suffering a 4-0 annihilation at the hands of Czechia in Prague.

They now face a Croatia side that, under the management of Zlatko Dalic, have an experienced, ageing squad that hasn’t really been refreshed in quite a long time. The Croats defeated France by two goals to nil in the first-leg of their UEFA Nations League quarter-final tie in March before then losing 2-0 and going out on penalties in Paris.

Gibraltar are an extremely weak side in the context of European qualifying and Croatia will be expected to win this one, albeit they are hardly ever ruthless in attack.

Gibraltar vs Croatia Tip: Croatia to win & under 4.5 goals
