It may be early but it could well be fair to describe this one as a relegation six pointer at the Coliseum with Getafe taking on Sevilla on Sunday.

Getafe vs Sevilla prediction

Getafe have a limited squad, both in terms of quality and general quantity, but Jose Bordalas is known for his hostile and aggressive approach that tends to have his teams punching above their weight. A good example of their grit was on display last weekend as they bullied Villarreal to a 2-1 victory.

Sevilla are a club in crisis and that has been the case for a while now. Argentine coach Matias Almeyda remains under significant pressure after Sevilla, down to ten men, could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to fellow strugglers Deportivo Alaves last weekend.

Getafe are a team that are used to the dogfight, whereas their opponents are underperforming and that familiarity with the situation should aid the hosts.

Getafe vs Sevilla tip: Double chance - Getafe to win or draw
