Germany vs Japan prediction

Germany were beaten fairly comprehensively by Sweden last time out with their lack of offence proving costly against an impressive Swedish defence. They should have more luck on that front against Japan, who gave up two goals vs France in a crucial 2-3 win. But Germany may well struggle keeping the puck out of their own goal again.

Expect a contest similar to what we saw when Japan took on France, a close encounter that should open up as time goes on. However, the German attackers perhaps have more question marks compared to those of Japan and with that in mind, backing the latter has to be favoured in this first game of the weekend.
