Germany begin their preparation for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 with a clash against Australia in an international friendly on Friday.

Germany vs Australia prediction 

Germany come into this one on the back of comfortable victories over Slovenia and Norway in FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification over the summer. The Germans have lost just one of their ten matches since UEFA EURO 2025.

Australia most recently eased to a comfortable 3-1 defeat of Mexico in June. The Matildas, as they are nicknamed, have re-emerged as a bit of a force but they were beaten by Japan in the AFC Asian Cup back in March.

This one does appear to be an evenly matched clash between two strong sides and so both teams scoring would appear a decent bet for this one.
