Georgia vs Ireland prediction
It is essentially a second string Ireland that will face Georgia as 16 of their players are currently on Lions duty, so that should make for an intriguing Test match against one of the strongest second-tier nations in world rugby.
Ireland’s interim head coach will blood some new faces in this encounter, and Craig Casey has been handed an opportunity to captain the side for the first time in his career.
Despite their tier two status, Georgia are ranked above top-tier nation Wales in the world rankings, and will be massively up for this as they put their skills to the test against one of the leading rugby nations.
Although Ireland are still considered favourites, this is unlikely to be a one-sided affair given how weakened they are. A physically imposing Georgian side have home advantage in Tbilisi, and can push the visitors fairly close.
Georgia vs Ireland tip: Ireland to win by 8-14 points
