Genoa have been much-improved since a change in management as they take on a Pisa side that have been solid and competitive ahead of their clash in Liguria.

Ever since the sacking of Patrick Vieira and the appointment of Daniele De Rossi, Genoa have been much-improved but the Genovese do now head into this one on the back of three successive defeats, having been beaten 3-1 by Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in the capital city last week.
Coached by former Cagliari boss Alberto Gilardino, Pisa have been solid and competitive this season but the visitors have still only managed one win this season. They come into this one on the back of a 2-0 loss to Juventus at Arena Garibaldi in Tuscany.
Pisa will believe they can be very awkward and difficult to play against for Genoa and a low-scoring encounter is to be expected for this one, especially with the hosts’ poor form.
