Fulham team news: Andersen back but Wilson a doubt

In his pre-match press conference, Fulham boss Marco Silva has confirmed that key centre-back Joachim Andersen has been passed fully fit after dealing with illness.

Harry Wilson, though, is one player that Silva has said may need to be assessed late on, while club-record signing Kevin has undergone surgery on a foot issue this week.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sesegnon; Berge, Iwobi; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Chukwueze; Jimenez

Unavailable: Kevin (Injured)

Questionable: Wilson (Injured)

West Ham team news: Pablo remains out

West Ham will remain without winter window signing Pablo once again, as the former Gil Vicente man tries to work himself back to full fitness.

Freddie Potts is also missing through suspension for this week, too, while experienced goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski also remains sidelined for the visitors.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Hermansen; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Disasi, Diouf; Magassa, Fernandes; Bowen, Soucek, Summerville; Castellanos

Fulham vs West Ham prediction

Fulham have returned to being very much in the fight for a top seven or eight finish and potential European qualification from the Premier League as the Cottagers head into this one on the back of a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in a game in which they should have been well out of sight of Spurs before a late rally from the north Londoners.

West Ham United have been much-improved in the last month and a half or so and Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have a real chance of survival but they did succumb to a bizarre annihilation at the weekend as they were beaten 5-2 by Liverpool at Anfield in a game in which the Hammers actually had a better ‘xG’ number than the Reds.

West Ham are playing well, as the eye test and quantitative data would attest, but Fulham are a team that can score against and worry anyone so it should be a reasonably fun watch for the neutral.
