Fulham vs Watford Prediction

With European football potentially on offer in an open Premier League, Fulham will fancy their chances of a positive 2025 but the Cottagers have recently enjoyed some impressive cup runs under Marco Silva so they will likely fancy their chances in the FA Cup, too.

The west Londoners have been left very frustrated in recent weeks in the Premier League, though, with an eight-match unbeaten run of form undermined by six draws in that time. That sixth draw came last weekend as they needed a second-half stoppage-time equaliser from the penalty spot to share a 2-2 draw at home to Ipswich Town.

Watford were tipped up by many to struggle in the Championship this season with Tom Cleverley at the helm as owners, the Pozzo family, seemingly turned their primary focus back to Udinese. However, despite a few poor results of late, they are in the hunt for a top six finish and the playoff places in the second-tier.

Despite that, it would be fair to suggest that league position flatters the visitors and Fulham, with a surprising amount of depth, are firm favourites for this one at Craven Cottage.
