Fulham vs Cambridge United prediction

If ever there was a club who could use the League Cup as an opportunity to break a trophy hoodoo like Newcastle last season, it would be Fulham. They are an excellent side under Marco Silva and a proven, rock solid Premier League outfit who are extremely unlikely to face any relegation trouble. Silva and his side should be all-in on this competition, particularly when taking into account their opponents in round three.

In no way should Cambridge United be underestimated, they have nothing to lose and can certainly frustrate the Cottagers in an attempt to force penalties or even better. But Fulham are at a far superior level both individually and as a team. With home advantage to boot, they have no excuse not to comfortably win this game by at least two clear goals.

Fulham vs Cambridge United tip: Fulham to win with -1 handicap
