Freiburg vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv prediction

Julian Schuster’s Freiburg have been impressive with four victories and two draws in their six UEFA Europa League matches thus far. They have underwhelmed domestically, though, perhaps naturally, with their 2-2n draw away at Augsburg at the weekend keeping them outside of the top seven in the Bundesliga.

Israeli champions Maccabi Tel-Aviv have been very poor in the league phase with just one point collected from their six matches as they hover just above Nice at the bottom of the 36-team table. They most recently suffered a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli Premier League at the weekend.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv are one of the weakest teams to have qualified for the UEFA Europa League and Freiburg should ease to a comfortable win in Germany.

Freiburg vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv tip: Freiburg to win -1 handicap
