France vs Ukraine prediction

Although France ended as winners of Group A and Ukraine runners-up in Group B, only a point separated the two sides with France ending the group stage unbeaten. They also scored the same number of goals, with both finding the net twice and when taking this into account, we may be in for a very close quarter-final.

What could tip the scales in France’s favour however, is their elite defence which has seen them concede just three goals so far across the tournament. That includes a clean sheet recorded against Latvia, a notable achievement. But Ukraine won’t be easy to break down either, especially when you factor in the tension of a knockout game. Therefore, backing under 5.5 total goals looks a good move.

France vs Ukraine tip: Under 5.5 total goals
