France vs South Africa prediction

In what is their first Autumn international, France come into this contest having lost all three encounters in New Zealand in July, which was a huge disappointment after they had claimed Six Nations glory earlier in the year.

Les Blues will be gunning for revenge here with this being their first meeting with South Africa since losing 29-28 in heartbreaking fashion at the 2023 Rugby World Cup quarter-final stage. Indeed, of their last 16 matches at Stade de France, that is the only occasion that the hosts suffered defeat.

South Africa, who won their second consecutive Rugby Championship title recently, began their end-of-year internationals with a commanding 61-7 victory against Eddie Jones’ Japan last weekend.

The Springboks are certainly battle-hardened, but against a France side hell-bent on revenge, it would not be a surprise to see the hosts winning this.
