France vs Ireland prediction
France finished off their Pool D commitments with a resounding 57-10 triumph over South Africa to make it three wins from three so far at the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup
Having also defeated Italy (24-0) and Brazil (84-5), France conceded a mere 15 combined points – the fewest among the tournament's participants.
Ireland, meanwhile, were humbled by New Zealand in their final pool stage game, losing 40-0 to the Black Ferns. Fortunately, Scott Bemand’s side had already done the hard work by seeing off Japan (42-14) and Spain (43-27) in their earlier contests.
Ireland will find it tough to break down this resolute French backline though, and are likely to come up short against one of the most impressive teams in the tournament.
