France vs Colombia prediction

Group K winners France meet Group G runners-up Colombia in a showdown that has all the makings of being a classic. Both sides are packed with quality young talent both offensively and defensively. It’s noteworthy that they each conceded just one goal across their respective group games and despite not winning their group, Colombia ended up with more points than France, which shows how good a team they are.

When taking into account the performance of their respectively backlines during this tournament so far, this game should prove high on skill, ability and general level of football, but low in terms of goals. That doesn’t mean we won’t see an entertaining match, but it’s hard to look past what we’ve already seen from France and Colombia, combined with the jeopardy of a knockout stage fixture. Therefore, back under 2.5 goals to be scored.

France vs Colombia tip: Under 2.5 goals
