France vs Canada prediction

France looked every inch the contenders many think they are to win this tournament in their first game, beating Chile by two goals to nil. Canada were also victors, getting the better of Uganda in dramatic fashion after coming back from 0-1 down to win 2-1 late on with goals in the 88th and 98th minute, the latter being a penalty.

This is the standout fixture of the group and should be an exciting game. Canada don’t give up and their players clearly have high levels on endurance to keep going until the end as they did against Uganda. But this French side have that extra layer of class about them and won’t let Canada off the hook in the same way Uganda did. Back France to come out on top.
