France vs Australia prediction

France withstood a Fiji fightback last weekend to record a 34-21 victory over the Pacific nation, which will have gone some way to improving the mood in the camp after they lost to 14-man South Africa a week prior.

Despite winning the Six Nations Championship earlier in the year, Les Bleus have not looked themselves this month, and are sorely missing the injured Antoine Dupont.

Australia have now lost six of their last seven Tests following their record 46-19 defeat to Ireland in Dublin last week, and they will be desperately hoping to end 2025 on a positive note with a victory against a Tier 1 nation.

There have been some bright sparks in 2025 for the Wallabies, including an improved showing at this year's Rugby Championship, but it has been a poor November tour for Joe Schmidt's side, having also lost to England and Italy.

Neither side are particularly convincing at the moment, but it is France who look like they have an extra gear if required. They will be motivated to end their 2025 commitments on a positive note in front of their own fans, and can be expected to be leading at the end of both halves.
