Hearts grabbed a much-needed 0-2 win at St. Mirren to snap a poor run of four Scottish Premiership matches without one including three-straight defeats. With their third place in the table something of an island between the two Glasgow heavyweights and the rest of the division it must be difficult to find extra motivation and three-straight draws for travelling Aberdeen makes this match look a decent candidate for a stalemate in midweek. New Dons manager Jim Goodwin has seen back-to-back 1-1 draws at Motherwell and most recently at home to Dundee United but just two wins on the road this season for his side suggests backing Hearts at double chance is the likelier way the points slide.
