Fluminense vs Borussia Dortmund prediction

2023 Copa Libertadores champions Fluminense may not posses the strongest squad from the South American contingent at the FIFA Club World Cup, but they will certainly have their sights set on qualifying from their group.

With this being their toughest fixture in Group F, they would certainly settle for a draw but they do possess boast considerable goalscoring threat, with the likes of Jhon Arias capable of unlocking defences. The Brazilian outfit have won their last four games in all competitions in the lead-up to this tournament.

Borussia Dortmund will also be wary of the threat facing them here, but will be expected to defeat a team who boast finances far inferior to their own.

The German side, who are featuring due to their UEFA ranking over the last four years, do have one or two defensive injuries though, and they aren’t necessarily known for their defensive solidity in an case. With that in mind, both teams scoring wouldn’t be surprising in what promises to be an entertaining encounter.
