Fenerbahce vs Rangers Prediction

Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce have been vociferous in their complaints against the Turkish Super Lig as they slip away from Galatasaray but they remain in the hunt in Europe, unlike their city rivals, as they now face a Rangers side without a permanent manager at the helm.

Fenerbahce come into this one on the back of a comfortable 3-0 defeat of Antalyaspor thanks to goals from Mert Muldur, Dusan Tadic and Youssef En-Nesyri. Fener sit four points behind defending champions Galatasaray at the top of the Super Lig table. They impressively defeated Anderlecht by five goals to two on aggregate in the knockout playoffs of this competition.

Rangers recently decided to part company with Philippe Clement as the Bears concede yet another Scottish title to Old Firm rivals Celtic. They are now under the stewardship of former player Barry Ferguson on an interim basis but things haven’t instantly improved, most recently suffering a 2-1 loss to Motherwell at Ibrox at the weekend.

Rangers are a mess at the moment and that is not the situation you want to be in when a Jose Mourinho side is next up, even despite Rangers’ famous results in Europe in recent seasons.
