Domenico Tedesco has done a good job in charge of Fenerbahce since his appointment towards the start of this season and the Turks will believe they can go deep into this competition. Fener come into this one on the back of a 3-2 win away at Trabzonspor that means they have suffered just one defeat in their last 11 matches across all competitions.
They now face a Nottingham Forest side that are, quite remarkably, onto their fourth manager of the campaign after Vitor Pereira replaced the sacked Sean Dyche. Forest have been struggling in a relegation battle in the Premier League throughout this campaign and pulled the pin after a goalless draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers last week.
Forest will head to Istanbul with a lot of uncertainty as to how well they will play, what they will do and what they will prioritise – and that is a perfect chance for Fener to capitalise.
