Fenerbahce vs Feyenoord prediction

Last week, in the first-leg of this UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie at De Kuip in Rotterdam, Feyenoord managed to edge past Fenerbahce by two goals to one, in a game that was closely fought with few chances at either end.

Mert Muldur scored an own goal in the 19th minute to give Feyenoord the lead, before former Manchester United loanee Sofyan Amrabat equalised late on Fenerbahce, with Anis Hadj Moussa then notching a second-half stoppage-time winner for the Dutch giants.

Fenerbahce failed to make the league phase of this competition last season, and the pressure from supporters is beginning to grow on Mourinho, as they continue to fall behind Galatasaray in Turkish football.

Feyenoord will expect to see Fener off, but the pressure is also on Van Persie to show defensive tactical nous, and both teams scoring may well be a good bet for a chaotic encounter in Istanbul.
