Romanian champions FCSB have started the 2025/26 campaign very poorly as they prepare for this second-leg against North Macedonian champions Shkendija.

FCSB vs Shkendija prediction

Under the management of Elias Charalambous, FCSB needed a last-gasp winner to defeat CFR Cluj to win their Romanian Super Cup before an unconvincing victory to beat Andorran champions Inter Club d’Escaldes in the first qualifying round. They also most recently suffered a 2-1 loss at home to Farul Constanta in the league.

The first-leg of this UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie was also a poor performance from the Romanians as they suffered a slender 1-0 defeat to Shkendija at the Tose Proeski Arena. Both sides went down to ten men in the second-half after Ahmed Alhassan won the game for Shkendija in the 65th minute.

FCSB will believe they can turn things around back in Bucharest, but they have been unconvincing this month, and so it is unlikely to be a dominant performance.

FCSB vs Shkendija tip: FCSB to win & both teams to score
