One of the most attractive knockout phase play-off ties on paper sees FC Copenhagen clash with Heidenheim, with the Danish giants hosting the first leg.

FC Copenhagen vs Heidenheim Prediction

FC Copenhagen are notoriously strong home team when it comes to European clubs and they’ll be confident of success here against a Heidenheim side who arguably have peaked too early in their maiden foray into Europe. After an excellent start to the league phase, the Bundesliga strugglers picked up just a point from their remaining three matches, condemning them to the knockout phase play-offs.

The Parken Stadium is a daunting environment for Heidenheim to go into and their poor form may well have led to a lack of confidence within their dressing room. FC Copenhagen are in prime position to take advantage here and backing the hosts to avoid defeat in the first leg is worth considering.

FC Copenhagen vs Heidenheim Tip: Double chance - FC Copenhagen/draw
