Exeter vs Mansfield prediction

Gary Caldwell and his Exeter City are expected to struggle this season and they began with a defeat to newly-promoted Doncaster Rovers on the opening day. They then, though, hammered Blackpool by four goals to one to restore some hope, before a loss to League Two side Cheltenham Town in the first round of the EFL Cup in midweek.

They now face a Mansfield Town side that have, after struggling throughout the calendar year, began this season with back-to-back losses, with a 2-0 loss to Burton Albion and then a 2-1 defeat to Doncaster Rovers. Nigel Clough is under pressure but they did manage to defeat rivals Chesterfield by two goals to nil in the cup the other day.

Exeter have shown some excellent performances at home, and they have to firm favourites for a clash against a Mansfield side that have been sinking for a while.

Exeter vs Mansfield tip: Exeter to win & both teams to score
