Exeter vs Blackpool prediction

Exeter City come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to newly-promoted Doncaster Rovers at the Eco-Power Stadium in Yorkshire on the opening day of the campaign, with Luke Molyneux notching the only goal of the game with an 88th minute winning penalty, with the Grecians set to struggle this season.

Blackpool are one of the teams aiming to push for automatic promotion this season, but the Seasiders began their campaign with a 3-2 defeat to Stevenage at Bloomfield Road last year, after they had taken the lead. Steve Bruce’s Tangerines are expected to get back on track, with their performance level remaining high last week.

Blackpool head down to Exeter as one of the strongest League One teams on paper, and they have to be viewed as firm favourites for this one this weekend.
