Everton vs Wolves prediction

Wolves shocked everyone in their most recent Premier League fixture by actually winning it. For the first time this season and the first time under Rob Edwards, they recorded a victory, beating West Ham 3-0 at Molineux. Whilst this only takes them up to six points and still leaves them a whopping 15 points adrift of safety, it’s a start at least.

For Everton though, the feeling in their last game was one of frustration after going 0-3 down at home to Brentford. The result wound up being 2-4 but that did little to stem the anger among supporters. Expect a big reaction here from the Toffees at their new ground and they’ll need to be on the ball against a Wolves team with newfound confidence.

Despite that recent victory, it feels like a false dawn from Wolves’ perspective. They remain by far the weakest team in the Premier League and Everton should play to a far higher standard than what we saw from them last time out. Therefore, back the hosts to claim three points.
