Everton vs Mansfield prediction

After an opening day 1-0 loss to Leeds United at Elland Road, Everton then began their new era with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion at Hill Dickinson Stadium, thanks to goals from Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner. The Toffees have been ambitious in the transfer window, and David Moyes will want a good cup run.

Nigel Clough and his Mansfield Town side collapsed in the second-half of last season and the third-tier outfit will be wary of relegation this season. The Stags come into this one on the back of a 4-1 demolition of Leyton Orient, though, to make it three successive victories since beginning the season with back-to-back losses.

Everton will likely make a few changes for this one on the docks, but they should still maintain a strong side and are the firm favourites to progress into the third round.

Everton vs Mansfield tip: Everton to win & over 2.5 goals
