Everton team news: George could start

Tyrique George was in the squad for Everton at the weekend but Harrison Armstrong continued to be deployed perhaps out of position, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Chelsea loanee come into the eleven here.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye, Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, George; Barry

Unavailable: Grealish (Injured)

Bournemouth team news: Nothing fresh

There doesn’t appear to be anything fresh for Bournemouth to worry about as Justin Kluivert remains sidelined alongside fellow attacker Marcus Tavernier as key absentees.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Jimenez, Hill, Senesi, Truffert; Scott, Cook; Adli, Kroupi, Rayan; Evanilson

Unavailable: Soler (Injured), Adams (Injured), Kluivert (Injured), Gannon Doak (Injured), Tavernier (Injured)

Everton vs Bournemouth prediction

David Moyes and his Everton side continued to defy expectations and general sense by somehow coming from behind to defeat Fulham by two goals to one at Craven Cottage the other day. That leaves the Toffees tucked inside the top eight and just six points outside of the top five and the probable UEFA Champions League qualifying spots.

They now face an AFC Bournemouth side that, coached by Andoni Iraola, have begun to find some form of late with the Cherries on a five-match unbeaten run of form in the Premier League. They most recently shared a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa the other day, with Rayan snatching an equaliser on debut in the 55th minute.

Bournemouth head to Everton having rediscovered their fluency and form, but Everton always seem to find a way at the moment and so both teams scoring may well be a good bet for this one in Liverpool.

Everton vs Bournemouth tip: Both teams to score
