Everton preview: Steady Ev
David Moyes’ Everton have started the season well, in what is the first season at their new ground on Bramley-Moore Docks, and they begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting ninth in the table and just four points outside of the top four.
After a run of four victories in five matches in the Premier League, Everton did succumb to a rather forgettable 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea last week due to strikes from Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto.
Arsenal preview: League leading Gunners
Arsenal begin the weekend sitting at the top-of-the-table but, as they play last on the day, they could begin this game sitting second if Manchester City manage to defeat struggling West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium earlier on on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners recovered from their 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa by edging past winless and rock-bottom Wolverhampton Wanderers by two goals to one at the Emirates last week, with a 94th minute Yerson Mosquera own goal giving them all three points.

Everton vs Arsenal prediction
Under the lights on Merseyside, there is a feeling that a narrative could develop whereby this is the day the title race took a defining shift. The alternative is that a well organised and structured Arsenal side are not out-done physically by an Everton side with key absentees. The focus of the game could well simply be set-pieces and, for once, and very rarely, Arsenal are much better at them than David Moyes’ Toffees.
