How to watch online: UK – Cannot be streamed / US – Disney+

Key stats

  • Estonia have won the last four international matches between these teams.
  • Estonia have lost eight of their last nine World Cup qualifying matches (W1). The exception is their 3-2 victory away from home against Moldova on 25 March 2025.
  • Moldova are without a win in their last 25 World Cup qualifying matches (D3 L22). The last victory was October 2013 vs Montenegro (a) W 5-2.

Estonia vs Moldova prediction

Estonia come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Italy in Tallinn the other day. Moise Kean, Mateo Retegui and Francesco Pio Esposito gave the Azzurri a 3-0 lead before Rauno Sappinen then pulled a goal back. The Estonians have collected three points from their six matches thus far.

They face a Moldova side that performed well in UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying but have collapsed in this campaign with five defeats from five in which they have scored just three goals and conceded 25. They most recently suffered a 2-1 loss to Romania at the Arena Nationala in Bucharest at the weekend.

Moldova have massively regressed in the last 12 to 18 months and have given up on even restoring pride in this campaign and an Estonian victory is therefore to be expected.

Estonia vs Moldova tip: Estonia to win
