Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Not televised

How to watch online: UK – FIFA+ / US – FIFA+

Key Stats

  • Equatorial Guinea have won the last two international matches between these teams (both in 2025 AFCON qualifying in October and November 2024).
  • Liberia are aiming to win successive World Cup qualifying matches for the first time since the campaign for the 2006 finals.

Equatorial Guinea vs Liberia Prediction

Equatorial Guinea come into this one on the back of their qualifier against Malawi being cancelled. They have endured a tough run of it in qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with just three victories in their eight matches thus far and two of those coming against a very poor Sao Tome e Principe side.

They now face a Liberia side that most recently defeated Namibia in impressive style with a 3-1 victory at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex. The Liberians find themselves now in a position whereby they stand a chance of finishing as runners’ up in Group H and potentially getting into the playoffs.

Equatorial Guinea haven’t been playing well and have very little to play for, whilst Liberia now do have a chance for some history and so siding with them would appear the way to go for this one.

Equatorial Guinea vs Liberia Tip: Double chance – Liberia to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
