England vs Senegal Preview & Prediction | 2025 International Friendly

If England play as poorly as they did against Andorra this past weekend, Senegal will fancy their chances of a positive result.

England vs Senegal prediction

England fans have a right to be worried about their side after such a lacklustre performance in Barcelona on Saturday. Whilst the opposition was the vastly inferior Andorra, the Three Lions lacked intensity and created precious little from an attacking standpoint, settling for just a 0-1 win. A similar showing here opens the door for Senegal with the likes of Iliman Ndiaye, Nicolas Jackson and Ismaila Sarr at their disposal.

However, the Lions of Teranga will be without superstar talisman Sadio Mane, who was not named in the Senegal squad for this match due to a personal reason. The visitors will miss Mane, whose pace and quality would’ve really troubled the English defence which is yet to concede a goal since Thomas Tuchel took charge.

Regardless of the outcome in Nottingham, goals are likely to be at a premium. All of England’s three games played so far under Tuchel have seen under 3.5 goals over the course of the 90 minutes and whilst the hosts are worth backing to get the better of Senegal, also making a play on under 3.5 goals appears a smart move.

England vs Senegal tip: England to win and under 3.5 goals
