England vs Samoa prediction
Tournament hosts England got off to a hugely positive start in Sunderland last Friday, scoring 11 tries in a 69-7 demolition of USA.
Installed by many bookies as pre-tournament favourites, the Red Roses more than lived up to that billing in the tournament opener, but they know that sterner tests are to come.
That is unlikely to be the case in this fixture though, as Samoa are clearly one of the weaker teams in the tournament.
The Pacific islanders, who are fully amateur, failed to even register a point in their opener, losing 73-0 to Australia at the Salford Community Stadium.
England will have a high score in their sights here, and it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if they were to record their biggest margin of victory at a Women’s World Cup, which currently stands at 82 points.
