Elfsborg vs Nice Prediction

Elfsborg massively underperformed in the 2024 Swedish Allsvenskan as they finished seventh but they have been quite impressive in the UEFA Europa League as they chase the knockouts.

The home team haven’t played competitive football since they hosted Azeri champions last month in this competition and defeated Qarabag by a goal to nil at the Boras Arena. They begin the seventh match day of the campaign sitting just above Portuguese Primeira Liga side Braga on goal difference.

They now face a Nice side that, under the management of Lucien Faivre, have really underwhelmed throughout the UEFA Europa League season with just two points collected in their six matches. They have been much-improved in Ligue 1 of late, although they recently suffered a 2-1 defeat to Lille at Stade Pierre-Mauroy last weekend.

Elfsborg have been quite impressive with a defensive style of football of late, whilst Nice will head up to Scandinavia looking to ensure they can regain their previously good form, albeit without the hopes of qualifying for the top 24.

Elfsborg vs Nice Tip: Under 3.5 goals
