DR Congo vs Sudan Prediction

The Democratic Republic of Congo come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 victory over Togo at the Stade de Kegue in their most recent outing the other day, courtesy of a seventh minute winner scored by Cedric Bakambu. They have been strong throughout their nine games thus far in qualification.

They now face a Sudan side that had started the campaign really well with three victories in their opening four matches. However, they are winless in five now and the Sudanese were held to a frustrating goalless draw against a poor Mauritania side at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.

Sudan have a stubborn and low-scoring side that are also in fairly average form and so the Democratic Republic of Congo should come out on top with home advantage here.
