Doncaster Rovers, following their promotion to League One last season, began the campaign with a 1-0 defeat of Exeter City at home on the opening day. They then backed that up with a late come from behind 2-1 victory over Mansfield Town last weekend before hammering Middlesbrough by four goals to nil in the cup in midweek.
Wycombe Wanderers have started their season with back-to-back losses in the league. They have lost both games by two goals to one, away at Bradford City and then at home to Stockport County, in games in which they sprung to life at 2-0 down. In midweek, they edged past Leyton Orient by a goal to nil in the first round of the EFL Cup.
Doncaster Rovers are expected to maintain an entertaining level under Grant McCann, as Mike Dodds struggled for form at Wycombe, but this one should be quite fun for the neutral.
