It has been a difficult couple of weeks for Doncaster Rovers as they now take on an improving Northampton Town side in South Yorkshire this weekend.

Doncaster vs Northampton prediction

Doncaster Rovers come into this one on the back of a very poor run of form. They had been brilliant at the start of this season but a surprise 4-0 hammering at the hands of Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road last weekend means they have now collected just one point from their last five matches.

They now face a Northampton Town side that, under the management of Kevin Nolan, have been much-improved in the last month or so. The Cobblers have moved into the middle-of-the-table but they were beaten 2-1 by a struggling Rotherham United side at Sixfields this weekend.

Northampton lack quality and that was shown last weekend, whilst Doncaster are in woeful form and so a low-scoring affair would appear a good bet for this one.

Doncaster vs Northampton tip: Under 2.5 goals
