Suriname team news: Nothing fresh

Stanley Menzo’s Suriname have a fully fit and available squad for their final group stage game against the Dominican Republic. Having already been eliminated, they may well make some changes for this one.

Dominican Republic vs Suriname prediction

The Dominican Republic, under the management of David Gonzalez, began their 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage campaign with a hard-fought 3-2 loss to Mexico in a game in which the scoreline did perhaps flatter them, before then suffering a 2-1 loss to Costa Rica a few days ago.

Suriname haven’t quite proven themselves to be as difficult to play against with the Surinamese coming into this one also on the back of back-to-back losses but with a 2-0 defeat to the Mexicans the other day. In their opener, Suriname conceded a 103rd minute winner in a 4-3 loss to the Costa Ricans.

Both of these sides have suffered successive defeats and are out, but they have both been entertaining to watch so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.

Dominican Republic vs Suriname tip: Both teams to score
