The Dominican Republic, ranked 144th in the world by FIFA, come into this one on the back of a strong start to League A of the CONCACAF Nations League with entertaining victories against Nicaragua and Trinidad and Tobago this international break.
Haiti have backed up some enterprising performances at FIFA World Cup 2026 by entertainingly defeating the Trinidadians by three goals to two last week before a comfortable and impressive 2-0 victory against Costa Rica the other day.
