Dolphins vs South Sydney Rabbitohs prediction

The Dolphins (9th) suffered a 26-20 loss to the Knights in Round 16. They have been inconsistent in recent weeks, winning three out of the last five.

Winger Jamayne Isaako has been a standout performer for the Dolphins this season, leading the competition in point-scoring with 172 points.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs (16th) were unlucky to go down to the Melbourne Storm in golden point last week. Despite their lowly ladder position, they have been competitive in recent matches and will be looking to build on their improved form. Alex Johnston has scored 10 tries in his last five games and his quest to become the all-time leading try-scorer in the NRL is on in earnest.

In their short history, the Rabbitohs have had the better of the Dolphins, winning two of their three encounters. This includes a narrow 16-14 victory in Round 1 of this season.

This is a crucial game for both sides. The Dolphins will be looking to get their season back on track, while the Rabbitohs will be desperate to climb away from near the bottom of the ladder.
