Denmark vs Lithuania prediction

Denmark are a solid European squad and one that are likely to wind up too strong for Lithuania over the course of 90 minutes. Christian Eriksen was on the scoresheet against Northern Ireland in a 2-1 victory and whilst the hosts could end up rotating their starting line-up for this next match, the Danes boast significant depth.

Lithuania are likely to spend plenty of time behind the ball here and will be tested significantly from a defensive perspective. It’s hard to see them being able to keep Denmark out over the course of 90 minutes, so at some point they will need to push bodies forward if they are to get anything out of this one.

Ultimately though, the quality of the hosts compared to their opponents is expected to tell and backing Denmark to triumph by at least two clear goals has to be favoured.

Denmark vs Lithuania tip: Denmark to win with -1 handicap
