Czechia vs Switzerland prediction

Switzerland came within one win of the podium back in 2022, losing to Finland in the bronze medal game. Meanwhile, Czechia fell to the USA, the same nation who dealt them a losing start to this year’s Olympic competition. Whilst they won’t face opposition of their quality every game, Czechia did look vulnerable defensively and this something that Switzerland could take advantage of.

The Swiss roster is made up mainly of domestic players with a couple of PWHL names such as New York Sirens’ Nicole Vallario and Alina Muller of the Boston Fleet. However, it’s hard to see them being able to shut down the Czechia offence over the course of the contest, especially when considering the importance of them needing to put points on the board. A high-scoring battle may be on the cards, so consider backing over 6.5 goals regardless of the winner.
