Czechia vs Sweden prediction
Following an excellent group stage campaign which saw them win all four of their matches in regulation, one of just two nations to do so, Sweden head into the quarter-finals in red hot form and with momentum firmly in their favour. However, all it takes is one bad performance for all that work to be ruined as the knockout stage begins. The Swedes racked up 18 goals and conceded just twice, although they avoided facing the likes of Canada and USA.
Czechia took on both of those two nations, losing 5-1 on each occasion. They also suffered an overtime defeat at the hands of Switzerland but did beat Finland 2-0. It’s also worth noting that Czechia are averaging just under five points conceded per fixture and against an attacking of Sweden’s quality, that does not bode well. Provided we see no complacency and Sweden can pick up where they left off in the group stage, then this should be a win for them.
