Czechia U21 vs England U21 prediction
Czechia have had some excellent U21 sides, winning the 2002 tournament and reaching the final in 2000, but they haven’t made it past the group stages in 14 years. Their standout names are both in attack with Famalicao forward Vaclav Sejk, as well as Daniel Fila of Venezia. The Czechs defeated Belgium in their playoff to qualify for the tournament in November.
They now face an England side that are back being coached by Lee Carsley, who led them to the title in 2023 but had taken charge of the senior side during the autumn. The Three Lions once again have an impressive squad with Ethan Nwaneri, Jobe Bellingham, Harvey Elliott, Archie Gray and Tino Livramento within the squad.
Czechia would appear to be a nice way for the Young Lions to begin the defence of their crown and they would have to be seen as firm favourites for this one in Group B.
