Cyprus vs Latvia prediction

Cyprus come into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Armenia in Nicosia the other day, courtesy of goals scored by Leonidas Konomis and Andronikos Kakoullis. The Cypriots have now lost just one of their last six matches and that came in fairly unfortunate circumstances in Podgorica against Montenegro last week.

Latvia managed to stave off League C relegation by beating Gibraltar in a promotion/relegation play-off back in March but the Baltic outfit remain one of the weaker sides in Europe and head into this one on the back of starting their UEFA Nations League campaign with one point in three matches.

Cyprus appear to be showing signs of life at last and they should be the team to be sided with given their home advantage and form.

Cyprus vs Latvia tip: Cyprus to win
